Warning: since November 17th 2015 the DXCC entity number 16,  "Auckland & Campblell Is." (ZL9) changed name to 

"New Zealand Subantarctic Islands" This is not a new DXCC entity but only a change of name.

The DXCC and IOTA databases have been already updated and can be downloaded automatically.

Anyway this change of name requests to update the previous QSOs with this entity. That cannot be done automatically

Users should recall their QSOs with Auckland & Campbell and manually update them one by one assigning the new name of the entity.

DXCC Procedure:

Recall with F3 all QSOs with Auckland & Campbell (ZL9).

Then one by one:

- click with left key of the mouse to select the row (QSO)

- click with right key of the mouse on same row and select "Show QSO"

- click on Callsign field just after the last letter of the callsign and add a space, then erase the just added space with the back (<--) key 

  (in this way the software feels a change on the callsign, even if actually it is not changed)

- save QSO

Luckly this entity is quite rare and the QSOs recorded in your logsheet shouldn't be so many.

The updated DBs are already on-line.


IOTA procedure: the group OC-286 "Antipodes Islands" moved from DXCC entity "New Zealand" to DXCC entity "New Zealand Subantarctic Is."

This group has never been activated. First activity is scheduled for January 6th to 11th 2016.

Previously recorded IOTA references:

The change of the name of the entity Auckland & Campbell to New Zealand Subantarctic Islands will erase the IOTA reference recorded in your QSOs.

So you should update them inserting again the IOTA reference in the usual way.

OC-037 or OC-074 are the related groups.
