Hi and thanks for downloading BBLogger,freeware software to fully manage your Amateur Radio Station or SWL Station.
First of all, what is your Operative System?
This software runs with platforms Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 without any problem, 
on condition that NETFRAMEWORK 2 has been installed.

With Windows Vista/Windows 7 the software works if NETFRAMEWORK 3 or 3.5 has been installed (normally it is already installed when you purchased your computer 
or after the update the O.S. makes when connected to the Web).

So be sure that in your Computer NetFramework 2 is present. Otherwise you can download it from this Microsoft Web Site (it is free):

This software runs also with Windows 98/ME but you will need to install MDAC_TYP.EXE or MDAC_TYP_281.EXE ,
DCOM98.EXE and JET40SP8_9XNT.EXE. These programs can be downloaded from www.aribusto.it , Section: DAI 
(click on DAI -> SOFTWARE DAI -> SCARICA VISUAL DAI) since they are the same to get Visual DAI working with Windows 98/ME.

If all is Ok please download the BBLOGGERSETUPFULL.ZIP file

and unzip it in a temporary folder (es. C:\TEMP or on the Desktop). After unzipping you will get the following file:

BBLoggerSetupFull.exe

Now run the file BBLoggerSetupFull.exe.
The Setup proposes by default to install the Software in the folder C:\BBLogger.

You can install the software in another folder or in another HD, the program works anyway,
but we advice you to not change this proposal, to get all features properly working.

The Setup will make also the icon on the Desktop and the path to be run from Start -> Programs


Before to run the program we advice you to read the Help. You can open it wit a double click on the file INDEX.HTM that is in the folder HELP
of BBLOGGER. It has been written in HTML so it can be read with a common browser like MS Explorer, Firefox, Chrome,and so on. Keep the Help page open during
the installation and follow the procedure (entering your data, creating a log, etc.). That has to be done just the first time you run BBlogger.
At first use the program starts in english. To set other languages among those available, from Tools menu select Configuration/Maintenance, then Utility.

Use the Help, it is a valid tool, fundamental to learn to use BBLogger. We are sure it will give you a lot of satisfactions.
Mind that BBLogger comes to you from almost 2 years of experimentations. Each version needs more than 30  test versions. 
And it is a continuously growing software. New features, new awards, new tricks will be added with next releases. So... stay tuned!

The software will tell you when updates are available. And you can update it on-line, with a simple click of the mouse.

UPDATE TO A NEW RELEASE (FOR HOLDERS OF A PREVIOUS RELEASE)

The file UPDATE####.ZIP (#### IS THE VERSION NUMBER) contains the executable and sometimes also the maps as DLL files. 
Decompress them in the BBLogger folder (make a copy of the old files before to proceed!).

Optional: the file SETUPBBLCAT.ZIP to install the CAT
